FAN SAFETY

Community guidelines

AthleteLive should feel competitive without becoming hostile. These standards apply to posts, comments, profiles, media, streams, and linked content.

Be a fan, not a threat

Debate performance and support your side without harassment, credible threats, hate, sexual exploitation, stalking, doxxing, or encouraging real-world harm. Extra care is required when a subject or participant is a minor.

Be authentic

Do not impersonate athletes, teams, coaches, casters, leagues, or staff. Professional badges and team relationships come only from the verified Professional Portal workflow. Label synthetic or materially altered media when it could mislead viewers.

Protect the game

Spam, engagement manipulation, malware, ticket fraud, counterfeit merchandise, unauthorized gambling promotion, match manipulation, and deceptive giveaway claims are prohibited.

Respect rights and privacy

Share only material you may lawfully use. Do not expose private contact, location, medical, locker-room, or non-public team information. Injury and availability updates must be authorized and limited to appropriate public details.

Controls and enforcement

Every feed post can be reported or its author blocked. A report is hidden for the reporting account immediately and preserved for review. Enforcement may include limiting distribution, removing content, suspending features, revoking verification, or disabling an account. An staffed review and appeal channel remains required before public launch.
